1. The agreement
By using Meadow & Mantel ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If a clause confuses you, write to us — we'll explain it in plain language and, if it's badly written, we'll fix it.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. One household per account is the spirit of the service; we won't enforce it with software, but please don't share an account across unrelated families — it's confusing for everyone.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to coordinate harm to people in your home or others.
- Do not upload content that is illegal where you live or where our servers live.
- Do not attempt to break, scrape, or abuse the service. (We notice. It's a small team.)
4. Subscription & refunds
Subscriptions renew on the cadence you choose. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. We refund unused months on yearly plans, no questions, on request. Free demos never charge.
5. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime. We schedule maintenance during low-traffic windows (Tuesday morning, your local time). For sustained outages we credit your account proportionally.
6. Your content
You own everything you put into the service. We hold a limited license only to display it back to you and the family members you invite, and to back it up. We never use your content to train AI models or build derivative products.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate Section 3 after a warning where reasonable. On termination, the data export window in our Privacy Policy applies.
8. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect damages. The service is not a substitute for medical, legal, or financial advice; the Health Hub and Adulting Queue are organizational tools, not professional services.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; if changes are substantive we email you 30 days before they take effect, with a plain-English summary of what changed and why.
